Dr. Catherine HelmerFHU SMART

Dr. Catherine Helmer is a physician-epidemiologist researcher at Bordeaux Population Health Inserm Center UMR1219. Within the LEHA team she leads various research projects on the relation between brain and eye disease, particularly in relation with vascular damage. She coordinates the 3C-Bordeaux study and is coordinating investigator of the AIDALZ trial (multicentric randomized trial).

Prof. François Tison is professor of Neurology at Bordeaux University Hospital. Dr. Hubert Cochet is hospital practitioner in medical imaging at Bordeaux University hospital. Prof. Bernard MazoyerFHU SMART

Prof. Bernard Mazoyer is professor of radiology and medical imaging at Bordeaux University and University hospital. He leads the CNRS-CEA UMR5296 research unit. He pioneered the development of brain imaging applied to cognition, played a pivotal role in international development of “Human Brain Mapping”, and coordinates population neuro-imaging at Bordeaux University.
